Awee Prins (1957) is a Rotterdam philosopher. He has been teaching phenomenology, hermeneutics, and philosophy and literature at the faculty of Erasmus School of Philosophy (Erasmus University Rotterdam) since 1985. His book on boredom (Uit verveling) was a philosophical bestseller. He was dean of the Erasmus School of Philosophy and started the honors program at Erasmus University.
